Work Location: Cyberport Office, Pokfulam (Company shuttle bus provided.)
You are required to provide the corporate tax group with divisional tax support to assist in the discharge of its responsibilities, direct and coordinate on a divisional basis the international tax matters of FedEx, to ensure foreign and US tax compliance, planning and research and the proper structuring of divisional international transactions. Moreover, you are responsible for analyzing and managing the corporation’s divisional tax risks and assist in resolution of local tax issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Accounting or Law. CPA, CTA and/or advanced degree preferred.
- At least of five (5) years of professional experience in corporate taxation. CPA firms or MNC experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of international tax laws and issues with strong research skills and technical writing ability
- Knowledge of tax accounting and financial accounting
- Able to work independently under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and human relations skills for the successful interface with executive management and officers of the company and outside advisors
- Able to provide guidance to team members, where necessary
- Skilled in project management
- Travelling may be required
- Fluent in English and Chinese (both written and spoken)
