Eaton’s Corporate sector is currently seeking a Tax Analyst to join our team. This position is based in our Mississauga, Canada facility (on-site/ but currently hybrid). Position Overview: The Tax Analyst will assist in all areas of Canadian corporate income tax, including income tax compliance, income tax provisions, and tax audits. Essential Responsibilities: Assist with the Canadian corporate tax compliance process including preparation of tax returns and tax working papers. Assist with the preparation of quarterly tax provisions and tax account reconciliations. Assist with the estimated tax installments and forecast. Assist with tax audits and examinations from various tax authorities. Review, monitor, and respond to tax notices. Participate in various special and ad-hoc projects. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field of study. Minimum 1 year of work experience in Canadian corporate income tax gained in a professional firm/ multinational company. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future. No relocation provided. Preferred Qualifications: CPA designation or pursuing CPA certification Experience working with Canadian tax compliance processes and software Experience with various ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) Position Success Criteria: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work effectively with others to achieve organizational objectives in an efficient manner Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while meeting deadlines Ability to assimilate information from multiple sources, identify issues, develop, and implement solutions Ability and desire to continuously learn and be challenged.
