We're looking for someone like this to:

• oversee the production and quality control of publicly traded partnership (PTP) information provided to IRS Schedule K-1 preparers
• coordinate efforts of UBS Information Technology (IT) partners and K-1 preparers to ensure the accuracy of K-1s sent to UBS Wealth Management Americas clients
• lead the development of automated and ad-hoc reconciliations of data provided to K-1 preparers vs. K-1s
• act as the primary UBS Home Office point of contact providing service to branch office teams in regard to requests for updated K-1s
• analyze discrepancies to determine and resolve root cause issues
• monitor and review corporate action events to ensure the accurate reporting of such events on IRS Schedules K-1 and IRS Forms 1099
• collaborate with UBS Group Tax attorneys, Wall Street Concepts and Broadridge Financial Services (UBS' tax services vendors), internal teams and investment issuers to identify proper reporting requirements and to update tax form information as needed
• reconcile investment income and proceeds, that are paid to clients, to ensure accurate reporting on various tax forms; assist the IRS Form 990-T/UBIT team as needed
• validate client information that appears on forms by checking against the firms source records and statements
• review standard operating procedures; recommend and draft updates as applicable (e.g. based on current file layouts and or updated taxing authority reporting instructions
• communicate issues in detail and track them to resolution; develop and maintain tracking spreadsheets
• maintain and update tax season runbook logs, keep and publish meeting minutes
• provide management reporting of metrics, issues and status
• test and review vendor updates and enhancements
