Our tax practice revolves around helping our clients effectively manage their tax obligations proactively and responsibly. As part of a global team of 35,000 tax professionals in 150 countries, you will advise clients on planning, compliance and reporting wherever the client has needs. Groups (or, as we call them – sub-service lines) within Tax include Business Tax Services, Global Compliance and Reporting, Human Capital, Indirect Tax Services, International Tax Services and  Transaction Tax Services.

Responsibilities:
• Support senior manager or partner in managing and developing important client relationships with major state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and Private-owned enterprises (POE) in the above sectors;
• Managing and delivering high-quality projects and results to ensure the highest customer satisfaction;
• Solid problem solving skills, ability to analyze complex data, identify core issues, investigate, evaluate and reach appropriate conclusions/solutions;
Requirements:
• The candidate should ideally have a master’s degree in BA, General management, finance, legal, Engineering and/or Mathematics, or a closely related discipline (e.g. MBA, Financial Engineering, IT, etc.) ;
• At least 2 years’ (or more) experience in management consultancy, professional services advisory or with a blue-chip industry company, with demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas of HR management, M&A, org development, strategy planning:
• Key performance indicator (KPI) definition
• Preference will be given to candidates with in-depth industrial experience and appropriate certification (e.g. PE) at a consulting firm
• Strong communication and presentation skills (including PowerPoint skills and Excel)
• Experience managing high-impact, complex and analytically challenging projects in high-pressure, milestone-based environments
• Strong formal presentation skills
• A flexible, creative and innovative approach to problem solving, and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in both written and oral Mandarin and English is required
• Applicants for the senior consultant role should have similar industry and functional exposure/requirements, but typically require 4–6 years of industry experience
