Job Objective
Development of DAI China businesses (i.e. more complicated related party transaction arrangements) and the changes of international and China transfer pricing (TP) rules bring more TP issues/opportunities to DAI China entities. Tax department needs a strong support PB7 position to Daimler Chinese majority owned entities on handling the new and more complicated TP compliance requirements in China, providing advisory on the TP topics and also provides TP consulting to joint ventures in China.

Task Description
Manage and handle TP compliance requirements for Daimler China majority owned entities to achieve both China TP compliance and DAI global TP requirements, including:
- Managing the preparation of transfer pricing contemporaneous documentation (TPD) following the China regulations and DAI global TPD requirements;
- Dealing with TPD follow up questions raised by the tax authories, if any;
- Managing the preparation of related party transaction forms as part of annual filing process;
- Managing the preparation of TP reports and other reporting documents as requested by DAG
Advice on the TP issues for Daimler China majority owned entities to mitigate TP risks and achieve optimization, including:
- Actively involving in the business operations and new business models and perform in-depth evaluations and assessments to assure TP compliance and optimization;
- Executing in implementation of the tax planning / process with optimization;
- Identifying TP risks and providing/implementing the solutions;
- Reviewing and signing off of the contracts from TP perGspective;
- Dealing with the tax authorities in TP assessments and TP audits;
- Coordinating with and report to the HQ tax in relation to any significant TP issues.
- Implementing the TP related data summary and analysis via digitalization platform.
- Manage externa advisor’s work and influence to achieve objective.
Support China joint ventures on TP functions from the shareholder perspective, in order to secure DAI tax position.
