Child & Family Services has an opening for a preschool Teacher in St Albans. This is a
full-time, school-year position.

Teacher Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Early Care & Education is
required, with a 081 Department of Education Certification. Preferred (or actively
working toward) coursework/cross-training in human services/family systems.
Experience in group care setting for children ages 3-5

Must be able to meet requirements of agency & State Child Care Licensing regulations
for background checks, including fingerprinting and physical exams. Demonstrate
interpersonal, communication (written & verbal) skills and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities include implementing individualized curriculum through a team teaching
approach and partnering with parents to support family goal setting, children’s health
outcomes, and school readiness.
