#Responsibilities
- Grow the number of Microsoft Innovative Expert Educators (MIEE), Showcase and Microsoft Schools. Also drive monthly active use of the Microsoft Educator Community and grow # of Certified Microsft Innovative Educators (MIE).
- Improve Teacher Ambassador(TA) coverage, number of participants, expertise diversity, manage the program and related marketing events to increase TA impact in business and awareness.
- Promote the use of the Microsoft professional development curriculum for both school leaders and teachers and increase # courses taken, badges awarded that can lead to Microsoft Certified Educator certifications.
- Drive awareness of Microsoft technology solutions for use by educators by leveraging the Global Training, Teacher Ambassador & Teacher Internship programs and lead training events to drive Office 365 usage and Window 10 activations. All three programs should reach a broad set of institutions, as many MIEEs as possible and drive Certified MIEs in the community.
- Develop STEM+ strategy locally in partnership with Microsoft Corporate, External & Legal Affairs (CELA). Leverage STEM+ programs and resources, including licensing of Microsoft Imagine Academy memberships & certifications to drive leader and educator agendas on Microsoft technology and employability skills for students.
#Qualifications
Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:
- 3 years + of related experience.
- Required – Bachelor’s Degree.
- Understands the local education marketplace.
- Has passionate attitude for technology as an enabler for a student’s growth and can clearly and successfully demonstrate the benefits for these technologies to customers and partners.
- Has knowledge and experience with Microsoft productivity tools, cloud technologies and devices.
- Is experience in marketing in education industry, enagagement with teachers and digital marketing promotion
- Is experienced in building relationships and partnerships that help educators integrate technology into the institution and classroom
- Is experienced and adept at getting people working towards a common goal; consistently demonstrates strong people management or leadership skills.
- Is creative and innovative; is often seen as visionary in his/her approach & has strong communications skills – written, verbal, and presentation.
