Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and creative Teacher of Design & Technology with a strong Art background to join our dynamic team in Shenzhen. The successful candidate will inspire students through innovative design thinking, hands-on making, and creative problem-solving, integrating artistic vision with technical skills.

Key Responsibilities•
Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and international standards• Integrate artistic concepts and creative processes into D&T projects• Guide students through the design cycle: research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and evaluation• Encourage innovation, creativity, and critical thinking in a project-based learning environment• Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment• Assess, record and report on student progress effectively• Contribute to curriculum development and co-curricular activities• Collaborate with Art and STEAM departments where appropriate

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Design & Technology, Art, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent preferred)• Strong Art or Creative Design background is essential• Experience teaching Design & Technology and/or Art in an international or bilingual school is highly desirable• Familiarity with international curricula such as IB MYP/DP, IGCSE, or A-Level is an advantage• Ability to teach across a range of age groups• Excellent communication and classroom management skills• Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary and project-based learning
