Youth College (International)

Work Location : Tsing Yi and Tiu Keng Leng

Major Duties :
(a) To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of students’ projects regarding the full implementation of project based learning in YC(International);
(b) To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c) To offer learning support to slow learners to keep up with the academic progress;
(d) To provide pastoral care and continuous support to students and parents;
(e) To assist in updating and developing programme curriculum, teaching and learning as well as assessment materials; and
(f) To participate in college’s projects and events.

Requirements :
(a) A relevant recognised degree in Counselling / Psychology or equivalent, preferably with a postgraduate qualification;
(b) Preferably possess 2 years’ work experience with adolescents or relevant work experience;
(c) Experience in supporting individuals with special educational needs and / or design or engineering area will be an added advantage; and
(d) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.

Notes :
(1) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
(2) In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
(3) The appointees may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and/or outside campus.
