The Center for Engineering Education Innovation (E²I) is a unit established within the School of Engineering to support student and faculty development. E²I is looking for Teaching Associates/Instructional Assistants to support the development of engineering experiential learning projects.

The appointee is expected to plan, execute and evaluate experiential learning workshops involving the use of design technology and tools such as Virtual Reality (VR), 3D modelling and printing, and laser cutting; and to assist in the management of a makerspace laboratory for undergraduate students.

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, or science discipline with a good command of spoken and written English, good computer literacy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently. Applicants are expected to work closely with university students.  Working outside normal office hours may be required. Applicants who have relevant work experience and can communicate in Cantonese will have an advantage. Applicants with more years of relevant experience will be considered for the Teaching Associate position. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
