The appointee is expected to (a) assist course instructors in running design critiques, (b) providing design project tutorials and (c) guide students in doing projects.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or above in industrial design and preferably 3-6 years of work experience in industrial product design. The appointee must possess good knowledge of design theories, principles and methods.  Main skills in industrial design and others including exhibition design and communication design will be required.  The appointee should also have great attention to design details and an eye for good composition; be able to communicate effectively with design experts; and be proficient in design software including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, SolidWorks and Rhinoceros.  He/She should be self-driven and passionate in design.  Candidates with less work experience may be considered for appointment as Instructional Assistant. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
