The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) offers 21 innovative degree programmes that are vocationally oriented and developed with significant industry input. All the programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and most are also accredited by the relevant professional bodies. In 2020/21 academic year, ten programmes will be included in the HKSAR Government’s Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP), which provides subsidies to students varying from $42,800 to $74,600 per year. Major Duties:
The appointee shall report to the Dean and engage in teaching and related learning activities, support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities of the Faculty, and undertake academic and administrative support services.

Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a Master’s degree, preferably a doctoral degree, in Building Services Engineering or equivalent, with work experience in building services engineering, or with teaching or tutoring experience at tertiary level for building services engineering, facility management, building information modelling or related engineering programmes; good interpersonal and social skills; and high proficiency in English and preferably in Chinese, including Putonghua. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching / practical experience in building information modelling and facility management and with membership of professional institutions such as the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. Proven records of linkage with industry or professional bodies would be an advantage.

Notes:
(1) Candidates may be appointed on temporary or part-time employment.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(4) The appointee will work on Tsing Yi Campus.
