SRIS is searching for an experienced educators to fill multiple positions in its Secondary School. 

The main role of the classroom teacher is to maximise student learning and development through the planning, preparation, and teaching of the curriculum to meet students’ individual learning needs and achieve specific student outcomes. 

The school will be expanding its current faculty in the areas of: 

1. English
2. Geography
3. Science (with an area of focus in Biology) 

Teaching and responsibilities  

• Plan lessons to meet student’s individual learning needs and to ensure student progression
• Use a range of appropriate strategies for teaching and learning and classroom management
• Maintain a well organised and stimulating learning environment

Extracurricular  

• Planning and engaging in professional learning activities that support school and systematic priorities
• Collaborate with members of the school community to build a team environment that supports students’ learning 

The available positions are full-time posts with contracts through July 2021 and are renewable by mutual consent. 

Requirements 

Bachelor Degree in Education, or Bachelor Degree in any specified subject with PGCE (preferred)

At least two years of teaching experience
