Job Description:

Multiple English teaching positions are available in the city of Maanshan, Anhui Province, about 1-hour driving from the city center of Nanjing. A hired instructor in average is expected to give 20 to 25 contact hours per week plus pre- and post-lecture efforts. Native English speakers with Bachelor’s degree or above of any field are encouraged to apply. Possession of a teaching certificate for English or English as a second language is preferred, though not essential. The openings can be divided into two categories as described below.

(1)English Teachers for Junior High Schools
Primary responsibility is to teach English for special classes in two very reputable junior high schools, 7 to 9 grades, Students in these classes are of good academic standing and interested in pursuing international high school and/or study abroad in the future. Qualified candidates must have good communication skill and passion for teaching youth.

(2)English Teachers for Franchised American School
Primary responsibility is to serve as an English instructor for students with age ranged from 3 to 12 in classes of a well-established American school franchised in China. As virtually all students are novice in English, qualified instructors must be of caring nature and patience toward children. Instructors are encouraged to develop their own supplementary course material to make the class lively, innovative, and fun to learn.
