Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Production Team Lead to join our night shift team. This position is based at our La Grange, NC facility and starts at $21.22/hr. In this role, you will lead and direct production employees in all phases of the plant operations to achieve plant goals. In this function you will: Understand, comply with and hold team accountable to Eaton policies outlined in the Eaton Business System Assist and advise Supervisor with scheduling and organizing employees to accomplish production operations Coordinate with peers and supervisors to deliver results in alignment with High 5 goals and objectives Plan and conduct daily Gemba meetings Complete all reports and records as required Teach, coach and mentor operators in assigned area as needed Maintain training records of team members in assigned area Advise management team of opportunities to improve/advance manufacturing processes and increase throughput Responsible for the proper care, maintenance and location of all tools and equipment Set the example for good housekeeping and 5S throughout work area Identify opportunities for process improvements that drive improvements in Safety, efficiency, cost reduction and equipment utilization Lead by example on all MESH safety rules/procedures and compliance standards and ensure that all employees under your direction are following established safety polices/procedures Encourage employees to participate in Engagement activities Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Minimum of 1 year supervisory or leadership experience Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship No relocation is provided. Only candidates within 50 miles of La Grange, NC will be considered for this position This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
