Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Team Lead Assembly to join our first shift team. This position is based at our Cleveland, TN facility. The Team Lead is responsible for making sure that employees in their area know how to perform the standard processes in their area. Team leads are working team leads; 80% of responsibilities will come from their standard work (tactical responsibilities). The core hours of this position are on 2nd shift. In this function you will: Conduct daily Tier 1 meetings at start of shift. report daily team needs during Tier II meeting to supervisor for additional support Be responsible for bell to bell work monitoring. Assist operations in quickly responding to business challenges (changes, material shortages, and/or manpower challenges). Provide guidance and direction to employees to ensure compliance and standardization in Safety, Quality, and Production Expectations. Provide training, instruction, and production related guidance to employees in their area. Provide motivation and encouragement to their team members, ensuring that they are continually made aware of all workplace goals surrounding production, safety, and quality. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship No relocation is available for this opening. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Cleveland, TN facility will be considered Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading a team of 10-15 employees Experience building 400 amp and larger switches Experience operating a crane Experience using a switch tester Basic knowledge of Enovia and Infor Can pull a drawing and understand routing Can build to Print/BOM Position Success Criteria: Understand and meet all departmental safety design and goals. Ensure assigned work-area is clean, organized, and orderly per 5S standards Ability to receive work assignment from supervisor, and prioritize jobs based upon the urgency of the order Compliance with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and proficient manner Ensure visual boards are continuously maintained Support team in problem solving efforts to improve work processes We make what matters work.
