Daimler Mobility supports the sales of Daimler Group’s automobile brands with financial services, which range from financing and leasing to insurance, car rental and fleet management.

Following the strategy of the Daimler Mobility AG to digitize and automate the business processes including the money lending process the role of the Team Lead (L4) “Run & Engineering Digital Sales Services” resides in the Digital Solution Center Sales of the Daimler Mobility AG within the CTO unit. The Digital Solution Center Sales is responsible for design and delivery of digital solutions for the domain sales within the DMO.

The Team Lead “Run & Engineering Digital Sales Services” is responsible to first build-up and establish a co-created team with highly educated business & technology experts from scratch and then to lead the team based on company leadership principles. The team is responsible for running, maintaining and technologically upgrading several digital products majorly in (but not limited to) the regions Europe and AAP. The operating model is based on agile methodologies with a core-team in Stuttgart and further sattelite-teams consisting of cooperation partners in Europe and Asia as extended workbench of the core.


Your tasks will be:

• Lead and coach a co-created core-team of around 7-12 experts located in Stuttgart
  
• Build-up a strategic cooperation partnership in respective regions as extension to the core team in Stuttgart to ensure a 24/7 availability in the respective timezones
  
• Full responsibility of operating digital sales solutions in the cloud hosting environment and technologically maintaining / upgrading the solutions
  
• Scaling the strategic products into the different markets globally
  
• Close alignment and integration with the related digital product teams such as INFINITE, eContracting, DSPNext etc.
  
• Drive the product strategy together with your colleagues from business and IT
  
• Define architectural designs together with experts in your team
  
• Be a “sparring-partner” in the area of technology and software design to your co-workers in the same department to increase the quality ansustainability of our digital products
  
• Participate and actively represent IT in management and alignment meetings
  
• Leverage and further build up the network within DMO, Daimler and the Online Sales Eco-System
  
• Ensure continuous innovation through processes, methods, platforms and IT solutions
