About The Role:
Design, manage and drive all types of linguistic services required for the projects managed by the linguistic services managers under his/her responsibility.
Leverage the know-how and experience accumulated under Linguistic Services and Quality department teams to drive and manage continuous and proactive development, design and implementation of quality management methodologies and special linguistic services (terminology management and maintenance, creation of style guides and definition of tone of voice, creation of specialized market- and end-user-oriented surveys and researches in the area of product linguistic/language quality).
Collaborate with Program Directors and project managers on assigned programs and accounts to make sure Production / End Client´s needs are met, while industry best practices and RWS´s know-how is used.
Collaborate with other teams under the RWS's Supply Chain organization to ensure best-practices related to linguistic services and quality management are acquired and applied by the team under his/her responsibility.
Support and proactively enhance the initiatives outlined by his/her manager and RWS's Supply Chain organization within his/her team.
Assign, train, educate and mentor linguistic services managers under his/her responsibility to grow their skills for being able to deliver services meeting the quality bar requested by the internal clients and in line with the company strategy and vision.

Responsibilities: 

• Participates on creation of corporate quality strategy.
• Motivates, supports, and coaches members of the team.
• Organizes and leads high-level customer meetings/visits & negotiation.
• Proposes innovations to corporate/unit/department processes.
• Responsible for overall processes design.
• Accepts and executes the internal processes and rules.
• Owns internal/external quality assurance process. 
• Establishes standards and procedures for the group.
• Optimizes processes and methodology.
• Estimates time, plans, schedules and coordinates tasks for themselves and other.
• Recommends corrective action where necessary.            
• Consolidates the analyses and interprets data.
• Gives input data a participates on creation the regular analysis.

Requirements:

• Degree in translation.
• 2 to 5 years of experience working as freelance translator or in a Multi or single language translation agency.
• Team lead experience.
• English: professional command (spoken and written). Another language knowledge is welcome.
• Advanced user of Cat Tools and MS Office package (especially excel).
• QA tools and dashboards handling is desired.
• Cooperative and patience, team player.
• Responsiveness.
• Focus on solution, effectiveness and quality individual responsibility.                
• Management and organizational skills.                                
• Problem resolution skills    .                                    
• Positive, proactive and communicative attitude.
