What's the role?

? Leading projects to develop new assembly line/device, and take jointly responsible for handling other projects with Unit Manager.
? Driving for process and equipment optimization to bring productivity for the plant, and reduce investment of equipment.
? Coaching and leading mechanical engineering team to develop assembly technology which could benefit the company most.
? Motivate mechanical engineering team and manage to achieve team targets defined.
? Communicate and work closely with functional department, Euro engineering team and BUs to achieve TTMs’ and plant targets.

What does the role involve?

Developing People:
? Recruiting, promoting, encourage and coach subordinated employees within the framework of Hilti programs for employee development.

? Responsible for the implementation and carry out of the defined people programs like THW, SMD, development discussion, PMP and GEOS. Follow up within the unit.

? Enhance Hilti Core Value within the unit and out of the unit (support departments, P4, HAG, HEG).

? Act in line with CoC and sustainability management to build a better future.

? Communicate/ share the experiences of department of the further development of Hilti (TTM, FMEA...).
? Enhance employees’ satisfaction (GEOS), as well internal and external customer satisfaction within frame of possibilities.

Achieving Outstanding Results:
? Take full responsibility for leading assembly line projects.

? Develop and design assembly line or testing device for new product (Design for Assembly)

? Fabricate assembly line or testing device internally or with external supplier.

? Support on new assembly line setup and commissioning for new product.

? Support online trouble shooting of assembly line and test equipment.

? Involve in assembly line optimization and continuous improvement.

? Work with CIP, to continuously improve machine stability and reliability.

? Support on lean project and assembly line modification.

? Support on technical problem solving of plant facilities.

? Promote the teamwork, and share experience and knowledge with other team member.

? Working on any other duty or project on which the incumbent is assigned by the direct supervisor.

What you need is:

• 1. Completed technical studies (industrial/mechanical/electrical engineering or similar)
• 2. Pronounced, goal-oriented communication in English.
• 3. Min.3 years of relevant professional experience in the design of product assembly line or production equipment development.
• 4. Min. 2-3 years’ leadership experience and project management experience.
• 5. Professional experience in the production/manufacturing field.
• 6. Advanced knowledge / hands on experience in CAD tools, tolerance concepts, mechanical design, Design to X (Design to Cost or Design to Manufacturing).
• 7. Experience in an international working environment beneficial
• 8. Entrepreneurial thinking, assertiveness and team orientation.
• 9. Hands-on mentality and experience in plant engineering.
