About The Role:

We are looking for a  Team Lead in Vendor Relations Management, who would be in charge of setting the appropriate supplier strategy for the assigned accounts, in line with the company strategy set by the Senior Vendor Relations Managers. The Team Lead is in charge of implementing an overall supplier management strategy for the accounts they are assigned to. This includes risk management, contingency planning, transition planning, and quality planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Help all team members in creating the overall  Vendor strategy for the accounts      
  • Train new team members
  • Operational management - plan & oversee financial results, suggest and executes on cost improvement strategies
  • Look for cost optimization for each account and across accounts     
  • Suggest potential automation, improvement, and tools needed on the account.   
  • Support team members in client and/or production escalations      
  • Gather expense requests for the team members       
  • Track performance of each team member    
  • Participate in Client's meetings        
  • Step in recruitment matters when the accounts need it and when there is shortage of capacity in the team
  • Report on a weekly basis to Senior Manager, Vendor Relations Management      
  • Monitor market trends and report to Senior Manager, Vendor Relations Management                                                                  

Requirements:                                                                  

  • Previous experience in an international environment and sourcing
  • Minimum 4 years of supply chain development and management experience
  • 3 years of experience in localization 
  • Advanced written and spoken English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
