Job Description
This position will be based in Pune and will be in Global Shared service center of Supply Chain Management function. The principle role of the this position is to support Electrical Business in EMEA region in the strategic buying activities. This includes understanding materials purchased, negotiations with suppliers and the ongoing management of supplier relationships. This is a single site role with assignment to remote plant location. This position require the incumbent to work in UK shifts ( 12PM- 9PM) 1. People Management: a) Managing Supply Management team – through leading by an example, coaching & mentoring to team to manage the SLAs, customer expectations, special project within stipulated time & to desired quality. b) Manage and develop talent: identifies, attracts and develop the key talent for the organization. Placing development plan, providing feedback through one to one discussions, facilitating career aspirations and time to time rewards & recognition c) Should forge relations at all levels, collaborate internally with different teams, externally with suppliers/customers & work in the matrix reporting structures. d) Set the SMART goals, periodic review and performance measurement, assessing skillsets, identify training needs, skills enhancement and attrition mitigation as per Eaton’s standards. e) Develop and execute hiring plan as per profit plan, effective onboarding, flawless integration with Eaton’s values and vision. f) Drive employee survey action plans to attain high level of employee engagement & managerial effectiveness addressing employee’s issues and concerns. 2.Customer Engagement and Satisfaction: – Drive customer engagement and satisfaction by meeting customer expectations and needs, build customer facing KPIs, voice of customer thru periodic meetings and ensuring timely resolution to customer queries/feedback etc. To plan, schedule and manage the defined business services, delivering to agreed timescales, budget, quality criteria and commitments. Address customer escalations promptly with having sustainable solutions in place with the help of Why_Why, 8D, A3 approaches. Interface with internal and external stakeholders within CHB business globally to enhance the value proposition of Material Execution function. 3.Continuous Improvement: To demonstrate a practical approach to continuous improvement of the processes which directly manage the delivery of our services & Champions Continuous Improvement projects to improve productivity of the team. 4.To identify and manage risk in his/her business activities and take responsibility for reporting risks in a timely, open and appropriate manner. 5.To Communicate SCM CoE Strategy and creates and align goals accordingly to teams and individuals. 6.Growth: Will be responsible for growth of the team & scaling of existing roles from the supplier planning standpoint 7. Functional Roles • Proficient knowledge on End to End Purchase process • Reviews & Verifies demand and convert req to order based on defined SLA, • Manage MRP exception by coordinating with suppliers. • Effective Supplier On Time Delivery Monitoring • Initiate PFEP for top SKU's by reviewing MOQ,LT and valid sources. • Maintain the inventory level as per plant Hi5 Metrics ( Forecast vs Actuals) • Timely execution and review of forecast with supplier. • Review blocked stock and initiate returns through DMR management • Day to day communication with various stakeholders like Site Buyers, Suppliers on the timely actions and resolutions. • Working Knowledge of ERP; • Inventory Reduction - Target Vs PP • Resolve DC & warehouse put-away issues. • Timely resolution of invoice according to set payment terms. • Co-ordination with sales in creating deliveries to customer/ changes sales order ETA per LT • Identify projects pertaining to process excellence maturity • Review excess and obsolete and plan to reduce as a part of E&O liquidation process. • Sound knowledge of demand planning • Evaluate MDM Qualifications Education- Any Graduate / PG especially MBA , APICS CPIM/CSCP certification or Equivalent will be an added advantage Experience- 7-10 Years of Experience and has managed team in past Technical Platforms- • Exposure in global working, managing projects across continents. • Good understanding of Materials functions • Need to have good hands on exposure of Material/Supplier management in an MNC/Global service. • Should be exposed to latest technology and tools for Big data analytics and deriving decisions out of it. • Good Collaborative style, managing various stakeholders at different levels. • Exposure to managing large team Other Skills • Team Management skills (Motivating, developing and building effective teams). • An individual with a strong sense of customer focus. • Accountable for responsibilities with willingness to extend the work scope. • Drive for Results • Passionate about Continuous Improvement Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
