• You create the future of BMW Car IT GmbH by driving important cross-cutting topics, long-term perspective and sustainability as well as methods and processes.
• You bring new ideas to the table and actively search for new and unknown ways of doing things within your team and beyond.
• You are responsible for building, managing and supporting result-oriented, agile teams.
• The motivation, support, development and coaching of your employees with regards to their technical and soft skills is part of your job.
• In addition, you are responsible for components, features and applications along the entire software development chain.
• You work in close cooperation with other departments across multiple sites, with process partners and external suppliers worldwide.
• Both delivering in the short-term, as well as influencing and shaping the long-term strategy for your team and its products will complete your field of action.

What should you bring along?

• Degree in computer science, computer engineering or a comparable field of study.
• Significant experience in software development and software engineering in an international company. Preferably with automotive experience.
• Experience in the professional and disciplinary leadership of internal and external teams in an agile environment with various interfaces.
• Proficient English skills required; German skills desired.
