• Works under supervision.
• Receives specific direction from others.
• Performs all of the first phase of analysis including:
  • Methodical disassembly of products.
  • Documents disassembly process using analytical forensic photography.
  • May be responsible for identification and logging of all assemblies, components, and sub-components.
  • May be trained on operating equipments and may conduct certain tests and measurements on electronic devices being analyzed.

Knowledge and Skills

The ideal candidate will have a technical education with exposure to and a passion for electronic devices and components.

This successful candidate should:

• Be interested in how electronic devices work
• Understand basic electronic components / theories
• Demonstrate simple circuit analysis skills
• Be able to identify different basic electronic components packages visually
• Be able to extract components parameters from datasheets
• Have good research / web searching skills

• Exposure to electronic devices and components

• Team player
• Proactive to communicate findings / issues with peers and / or leaders
• Problem solving skills
• Good written and reading comprehension skills in English

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
