The successful candidate will provide technical support via phone, Forum and web service tickets to users of RAM, STAAD and other Bentley Structural Analysis products and work directly with our support organization, as well as interact with our software group to report issues and help product improvement based on user feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users, answering complex questions on function and product best practices
• Resolve application questions/problems via email and telephone in the areas of product functionality, system configurations/setup and bugs/enhancements
• Serve as the primary support liaison between company and users
• Convey user feedback to product development staff
• Involved in follow up, testing and troubleshooting
• Encourage engagement of users, partners and colleagues in Bentley Communities
• Keep users informed of how and when problems are resolved
• Perform follow up, testing and troubleshooting of products
• Be responsible for appropriate referral to other support and quality assurance areas
• Provide web based user training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architectural, Civil or Structural Engineering
• 1 - 5 years prior engineering related experience
• Experience with RAM Structural System, Ram Concept, Ram Connection, STAAD.pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or RISA.
• General understanding on Windows operating systems and problem solving
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey complex technical details
• Must be self-motivated and proactive, possessing strong desire to learn
