The position is based in one of our offices in Katowice or Poznan, however you will be in charge of the whole Eastern European Region (CZ, HU, PL, SK, RO). Nevertheless, you will be able to work also from your home office. Your role will be to create value in strategic automotive accounts as well as exploring new and current technologies and services for business benefit. The Technical Account Manager (f/m/d) is responsible for strategic concept development and demand creation for Siemens products and services in the industry of automotive Powertrain customers (engine, gearbox, e-motor) Success is measured by consumption of Siemens products and services in automotive ecosystem, and the driving of end user specification into the wider global OEM and integrator market. This individual will be responsible for successfully developing assigned solutions within the portfolio, ensuring offering is completed in accordance with organizational processes, timeline and go to market targets. He/she will actively work on strategic concepts and standards and guide the project team while implementation. Furthermore he/she will support the Polish automotive powertrain customers by being a technical contact person and orchestrator within Siemens. This is a role well-suited to an ambitious technical professional looking for first experiences in Account Management within diverse teams and enhanced product families as the next step in their career. This is your role. What are your responsibilities? A strong focus on the automotive industry and its associated supply chain will be a major responsibility of the role. The candidate will be required to provide market information and requirements of accounts to operational units for overall market effectiveness. Technical and organizational support of our Key Account Customers in the area of automotive powertrain (engine, gearbox, e-motor) Development of strategic concepts and standards for Key Account Customers in the area of automotive suppliers and their machine builders, as well as the support of these customers during implementation. Strategic (Co-) development of business plans Close cooperation with the Account Manager in the respective countries by consultative selling incl. execution of technical workshops with customers Support of the local teams with customer presentations and development of sales material Alignment with our responsible global corporate account managers Create CRM tool supported reports and analyzes Analysis of technical trends and developments in the area of automotive production in CEE (competitors, products, methods, processes, etc.) What do you need to qualify for this job? Completed technical studies/education (High school, University) in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, electronics, automation technology or a comparable qualification Experience in the automation of machine tool systems is necessary, General Sales interest and willing to develop in this direction in the future Experience in planning and executing of technical projects Team-oriented way of working and very good organizational skills Willingness to travel abroad for several days Since we are in an international environment, you communicate expertly in English and have ideally also some basic German skills.
