Software is a critical element of Intel's success and OSVs are delivering the foundational layer that sits on top of Intel's solutions. Suse is a key OSV and solution provider for a range of open-source solutions for Data Center, Cloud, Edge and embedded markets. Canonical, another important OSV for Intel is offering a leading open-source OS named Ubuntu, relevant esp. for Intel Client and Edge platforms. The role is a commissioned sales position primarily responsible for refining and executing a winning account strategy, driving and coordinating technical enablement projects and aligning support for joint get to market initiatives. This shall then be the foundation for increasing consumption and sell through based activities with Suse and Canonical. The successful candidate will be working with business unit, sales and marketing field members. Responsibilities include developing cohesive technology solutions with Suse and Canonical that increase the usage of Intel products/services.
The Sales Development Account Manager's responsibilities include but not limited to:
Accelerating revenue growth and profitability for both Intel and our critical strategic partners, Suse and Canonical. This entails engaging with the necessary stakeholders across Intel business groups and Suse / Canonical, including executive management, in order to design, define and execute against a strategic business plan that aligns both product and solution goals for both companies.
Understanding the partner's strategies and business plans as well as a the Linux OSV landscape, solution trends and eco-system partners and their solutions.
Facilitating Intel and Suse/Canonical alignment along three primary vectors (platform enablement and Roadmap alignment, co-marketing and sales), with the objective to help drive Intel competitive advantage, differentiation and platform adoption with a high priority industry partner.
Developing business relationships with technical and product leaders at Canonical and Suse and bring them together with key Intel stakeholders across several Intel business groups.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA/MS/MBA/CS/EE plus 5 years' experience or equivalent required
The candidate should possess solid software technical awareness/acumen and industry insights Edge to Cloud (including enterprise operating systems, infrastructure such as virtualization, HCI, Kubernetes and Containers, NFV, storage, and SDI) as well as enterprise application software, and development environments
5+ years of experience in Technical Sales Management skills running customers or partner engagements
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior knowledge of Intel platforms and our hardware roadmap either via product marketing, technical marketing, and field experience
