Lenovo’s Global Accounts Business is looking for a Technical Account Manager located in the Tri-State area (NY/NJ) that is enthusiastic and passionate about working with Global Financial Services customers and the dedicated Global Accounts Managers (GAMs). The Technical Account Manager will sell and support the entire Lenovo portfolio. Key Responsibilities: • Acts as a strategic partner to the Global Account Manager(s) with the goal to close Lenovo revenue targets and increase market share • Technical focal point and lead for Lenovo at Global 500 client(s) • Acts as owner for all technical aspects of the Lenovo enterprise portfolio (pc, servers, storage, networking, and software) • Ensures success of customer proof of concept (PoC) and proof of technology (PoT) • Local technical expert that can answer all Global customers technical questions related to Lenovo’s technology portfolio • Product support resource for customer • Manages the technical side and related action items of all customer projects • Develops and maintains consistent and effective communication • Supports Lenovo and customer(s) KPI • Acts as trusted advisor, owning solution design and product recommendations • Ensures successful deployment of solutions once purchased and providing the highest level of customer experience #### Position Requirements: We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of strategic sales experience, preferably in Global Accounts, along with the following skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience • Must have experience with financial application platforms and solutions • Server and desktop virtualization, storage, converged and hyper-converged solutions, business continuity and data center operations customer facing experience is strongly preferred • Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify and explain complex problems • Knowledge and experience with x86 servers and storage from IBM & Lenovo is a plus • Ability convert technical concepts and strategy into clear, highly visual, Executive presentations • Able to travel to customers within territory up to 30% of the time We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
