Technical Administrator – Queen’s Hospital, Romford Do you want to contribute to the future of healthcare? Come and join Siemens Healthineers as a Technical Administrator working in our on-site team at Queen’s Hospital in Romford delivering a range of medical engineering services in line with the Managed Equipment Service (MES) contract. Reporting to the MES Manager, the position will support the technical administration functions of the service to create and maintain consistently high customer and staff satisfaction. This will involve communication with internal and external service stakeholders, providing support to colleagues and ensure that assigned tasks and responsibilities are performed accurately and efficiently. An element of the position is to provide support to the management team. Your mission and responsibilities: Coordination of loans, returns, durables and repairs of EBME equipment Condemning and disposal of redundant medical equipment Engineering support for stock audits and spares provision - including updating stock levels within EAM Data entry and maintenance of EAM (Siemens asset database) Participation in an established support rota in providing technical help desk assistance as required Assistance with full annual equipment inventory and audits, also with all associated internal/external audits Organise and update technical service manuals Include Acceptance Testing, Repairs and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) of basic EBME. Attend any appropriate training courses, meetings and/or conferences which are relevant to the role / support work being done in the MES department When required, to assist in evaluating and dealing with safety bulletins and clinical adverse incidents involving medical equipment. To assist when required, in the evaluation and trials of new medical equipment and to undertake the indemnity process prior to the equipment use Any other relevant duty that assists in driving the efficiency of the workshop underpinned by LEAN initiatives. Your qualification and experience: Experience of working in a busy office environment; Good communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to deal with customers and staff at levels; A good degree of computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft packages and bespoke service management packages; Must be able to work with people of diverse cultural background.
