The Opportunity:
As a Technical Analyst, working in the AIA Vitality program, you will be passionate about agile and technology. You can bring great experience from helping teams become better agile practitioners. You will drive the critical analysis activities required to effectively deliver working solutions under the Agile project methodology.
To do this successfully you will:
- Facilitate the project inception – prepares material before the inception (e.g. as-is processes) and supports the Iteration Manager/Scrum Master in running the different sessions within the inception.
- Analyse of business requirements – ensures requirements are gathered, elaborated, documented, accepted and understood by the business and project team.
- Facilitate the business discussion to create a clear articulation of the product and the expected value for business and customer.
- Support the management of the product backlog – responsible for the generation of stories or features (from the epics) and prioritisation of the backlog.
- Facilitate day to day ceremonies, workshops, kick-offs and approvals.
- Support the development of business-related release artefacts – assists the Product Manager and/or Change Manager.
To be successful in this position you will have
- Strong technical understanding of Web and App development, with experience of developing for enterprise-based solutions.
- Sound experience with API’s and the services architectures which enable modern web/app-based products.
- Have strong leadership skills, are an influencer and build relationships.
- Have a thorough understanding of Agile and the Scrum approach to achieving agility.
- Good experience with the Sprint planning, Retrospective and Sprint demonstration ceremonies.
- Have excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certification preferred (CSM/ IIBA/ CBAP).
