• Performs technical / economical analysis of the components;
• Plans manufacturing processes;
• Realizes calculations that serve as a support for the procurement department and helps the procurement team in the negotiation process with suppliers;
• Performs cost analysis;
• Performs verification checks (decomposition of costs, offers from the suppliers);
• Identifies and comes up with ideas for costs reductions and supports their implementation;
• Collect technical and economic data from the suppliers in order to develop / validate calculations tools.
• University degree in technical or technical-economic field;
• Knowledge about one of the following technologies: plastic injection, rubber injection, stamping, pressure casting, assembly, welding, electronics / electrical;
• Professional experience in Engineering / Manufacturing is an advantage;
• Product cost management, experience regarding estimation and planning of a product, negotiating skills, is an advantage;
• Soft skills: self-motivated, able to work both in a team and individually, able to communicate effectively and have an aptitude for learning new techniques, methods and principles;
• Good PC knowledge, databases, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Advanced knowledge of English or German language.
