For our Data Center Group, we are looking for a Technical Consultant and in this role you will: • Improve business solutions for x86 servers, network, and data center services • Focus on solving the customer's business problem by architecting, designing, delivering, installing and providing skills transfers for Lenovo solutions & appliances • Perform IT optimization studies and recommend strategies • Implement and deliver advanced solution/appliance services around Lenovo products: System x servers, ThinkSystems, ThinkAgile, Bladecenter, FlexSystem and appliances involving Virtualization, System Networking, Converged Infrastructure (ie. Nutanix), Cloud (Azure Stack), Software-defined Storage etc. • Work collaboratively, complementary with hardware sales team, technical sales (presales) team and Business Partners #### Position Requirements: What we expect from you: • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the PC/Tech industry • In-depth expertise and credibility with technologies such as networking, Cloud orchestration tool, Server, storage (including acceleration) & network virtualization, Datacenter/Edge computing architecture (deployment and operations), DevOps and automation, 5G and Edge computing use cases • Knowledge of Virtualization technologies (VMWare, KVM, Containers, etc.) • Experience working with central DC and edge computing hardware and management software • Highly collaborative work style with proven ability to gather consensus and take decisive and   timely actions • Thorough understanding of datacenter and edge computing technologies • Ability to operate within a complex, dynamic and autonomous environment We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and basis of disability or any protected class.
