BitGuild is looking for technical director with a hunger for getting their hands dirty in complex problems and interesting challenges. The Technical Director will be critical to the leadership and development of our BitGuild's products. In this role, you will be working directly with your team to build world class software that stand out amongst the rest in this emerging market.

Expectations：

• Serve as the engineering director and technical expert

• Responsible for the company-wide technical quality of the products

• Oversee each project’s life cycle from conception to completion, with an emphasis on technical soundness and resource efficiency

• Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering team members

• Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for engineering staff to use and abide by

• Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects

• Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff

• Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects

• Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs

• Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff members

• Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes

• Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors

• Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally

Prerequisites

• 5+ years experience, ideally in a management role

• Experience with HTML5, SQL, JSON, Javascript, React.js and Node.js

• Experience with other programming environments like Java/Scala, Python, PHP is a plus

• Familiarity with Blockchain, Ethereum, Solidity, Truffle Framework, wallets, exchanges

• BA in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or the equivalent in experience

• Experience leading a team through challenging projects

• Deep understanding of complex data structures and time complexity

• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment

• Highly effective communication and collaboration skills

任职要求：

1.至少5年以上工作经验，优秀的技术和管理能力，英语听说读写流利；

2.本科以上学历，计算机或相关专业；

3.具有HTML5，SQL，JSON，Javascript，React.js和Node.js的经验；

4.有Java / Scala，Python，PHP等其他编程环境的经验者优先考虑；

5.熟悉区块链，以太坊，Solidity， Truffle Framework，钱包，交易所；

6.深入了解复杂的数据结构和时间复杂性；

7.能够在快节奏，充满活力的团队环境中快速学习；
