Responsibilities

• The overall technical authority of designated project. Acts as lead technical interface with the Customer.
• Coordinates the solution between the various technical
• Anticipates and/or analyses the customer needs/requirements and defines the initial needs baseline
• Ensures the solution compliance with Product Policy, contractual requirements and applicable legislation and regulations including but not limited to export restrictions, Environmental/HSE, safety, security etc.
• Ensuring the Engineering Environment (process, practices and tools) for the Solution is consistent with Country/Company requirements, and overall Solution cost, technical risks and schedule.
• Reviews together with the Project Design Authority, Solutions Engineering Manager and JV partner the technical risks and opportunities and the related mitigation plans throughout the bid or project.
• Oversees the acceptance of the Solution by the customer
• Organizes when appropriate technical meetings and peer reviews together with the Project Design Authority, Architect and the Solutions Engineering Managers and other stakeholders in order to perform the solution technical assessment and validation.

Experience

• 5-10 years relevant experience in development of software-based System applications
• 3-5 years relevant experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proven customer communication / technical Management skills.
• Automated train control systems domain knowledge and knowledge of modern software engineering practices, methods and tools.
• Good presentation skills. Ability to sell/defend product to customers with differing levels of knowledge about automated systems.
• System Engineering expertise and understanding of the engineering life cycle, including but not limited to CENELEC (50128) and IEEE (1474) standards
