Responsible for supporting specific functional / business areas in terms of information system needs

As the Technical Domain Partner, the role will be to lead the engagement team in order to ensure alignment of the IT enablement activities to the strategic outcomes of the AIA Philam Business Units.

The Technical Domain Partner will be the key liaison point between the Senior Leaders of AIA Philam Business Units, various business stakeholders and the IT Teams. The Technical Domain Partner will need to explore and understand the business strategy and requirements and match these with innovative and cost-effective technology solutions

  • Acts as the technical domain lead in IT for a domain of applications and the corresponding systems affecting application domain availability, accessibility, timeliness, and accuracy of delivery

  • Provides business units/tribes with a Single Point of Contact/interface for issues that may affect the solution and/or solution delivery for the application domain and corresponding systems

  • Prepares, in close co-operation with architects and analysts, the technical conditions of contract for the services that are required to maintain the IT systems within the applications domain or by project deliveries

  • Manages and ensures that the application domain architecture and blueprint including end to end service delivery model and agreements are maintained and updated in CMDB and KMDB 5.

  • Captures and transfers the knowledge of the applications domain in close co-operation with vendors upon service delivery 6. Handles business relationship with Local BU’s/Tribes to ensure support, timely decision making, and management of application service delivery to meet business requirements which may include but not limited to IT Operating Level Agreements and Application Service Delivery reviews with the business units

  • Works closely with IT Service Delivery team on monitoring and controlling deliver of IT Services including those of vendors/partners in relation to his/her business relationship management role with business units/tribes

  • Implements managed services agreements and co-ordinate the activities for maintaining the application services with business stakeholders and the product specialists in the unit

  • Schedules and prioritizes delivery of work packages, in close co-operation with business stakeholders, project managers, and change advisory board.

  • Provides support for estimates of work and costs

  • Manages acceptance and sign-off of deliveries from vendors 12. Reports on the progress of work and collect information about vendors’ performance

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Technical/Information System/Other related educations

  • Minimum of five years' experience in implementation of IT products and systems in similar environment

  • Demonstrable extensive experience in IT full stack solutioning, and application management

  • In-depth technical knowledge and affinity with application services and the modern technologies on which they are built on

  • Demonstrable experience in ability to lead the building and maintenance of application lifecycle roadmaps aligned with the Enterprise Technology Roadmap and Enterprise Architecture.

  • Experience in monitoring and managing IT risks mitigation plans, and strategies related to application domains and corresponding systems

  • Understanding of Project Management and Software Development Life Cycle

  • Experience in describing specific IT work packages and monitoring their outsourcing

  • Experience in management of services with IT partner/vendor companies and to maintain partner/vendor relationships including strong partner performance

  • Proven experience in delivering IT products and services in co-operation with partner/vendor companies

  • Experience in leading and facilitation of acquisition of new service contracts for managed services and take part in the selection process in accordance with the regulations and corporate policies Very good knowledge of ITIL-based processes, alignment of business and IT capability, governance, and change management as well as project management both for water and agile methodologies

  • Proven track record of strong stakeholder engagement, problem solving, risk and conflict management, complimented by excellent communication skill

  • Good analytical skill & can think out of the box
