professionals to join our Hyperscale Sales organization as a Technical Hybrid
Sales Representative.
The Technical Hybrid Sales Representative will be reporting to the Hyperscale
Director of Business Development and ideally will need to be a self-starter,
goal-oriented and possess proven customer facing experience. A strong
personality with the desire to reach high performance goals is a must.
Representatives will work with acquisition and retention accounts in the
Hyperscale space.
You will be accountable for managing and maintaining account relationships
through various levels of engagement and seniority within the customers’
business. You must be able to develop and execute strategies within your
accounts to achieve exponential growth of Lenovo's Hyperscale business.
The successful candidate will configure; price; negotiate and quote sales
solutions, engage in RFP’s, as well as provide proactive follow-up, product
information, and overall business development strategies.
The successful candidate will provide account support via the telephone,
partner with the outside team and customer (with opportunity for face-to-face
customer visits); and be accountable driving weekly forecast and opportunity
management with management.
The Technical Hybrid Sales Representative will be accountable for, but not
limited, to the following responsibilities:
• Must be able to communicate and understand Lenovo strategy, industry trends,
and critical success factors for effective business development in the
accounts covered
• Track competitive market trends; customer data trends, and provide analysis
to drive further opportunity
• Work with the sales leadership and field sales team on business development
opportunities and business planning
• Team with field sales team and the customer coordinating deals, forecasts
and RFP’s
• Ability to build business cases supporting customer opportunities while
aligning with Lenovo’s strategy
• Build / price configurations and providing quotations to the customer
• Partner with various members of internal functions such as operations,
procurement and supply chain
• Provide strategic high level and in depth detail review of project
financials
• Resolve challenging account relationship situations from some of the most
demanding customers
#### Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• 3 – 5 years of proven sales success, preferably in a technical environment,
with a desire for career advancement to a highly strategic role
• A strong technical sales background is considered an asset in this role,
server experience is mandatory
• Post-secondary education
• Experience managing weekly sales forecasts, activity reporting and
opportunity management
• Strong business and financial acumen with analytical, critical thinking;
problem solving and capable of collecting data from multiple sources and
producing and presenting clear / concise reports
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Preferred Requirements:
• Strong Communication skills across multiple organization functions
• Ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong
team player mentality and demonstrate flexibility
• Proven successful experience with building functional reporting and
dashboards
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Desire to work in a faced paced environment with the ability to quickly
adjust to a change, and rapidly course correct
• Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files,
primarily working within CRM, Excel and Power Point
