Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

Being the key person to support daily operations of technical library, carry out Technical Publication activities and support Technical Record management activities.

  • Collect routine Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) (e.g. aircraft maintenance manual (AMM)) from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), consolidate important message as an integrate manual and distribute to Maintenance, repair, overhaul organisation (MRO);
  • Ensure the maintenance and engineering library system is updated with the latest OEM instruction and distribute to Technical Service team for technical evaluation;
  • Collect Continuing Airworthiness (CAW) mandatory documents from major local and overseas civil aviation authorities and distribute the document to Technical Service team for evaluation upon different airworthiness requirements (e.g. Airworthiness Directive (AD), HKAR-1, HKAR-21, etc.);
  • Collect others ICA documents in accordance with CAW compliance, and distribute to Technical Service team for further processing, such as Maintenance Planning Documents (MPD), Service Bulletin (SB), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), etc.;
  • Support aircraft introduction and aircraft lease return projects by providing required technical documents;
  • Filing all Technical Service published documents and distribute to end user;  
  • Collect HKCAD mandatory documents related to Air Operator's Certificates (AOC) and HKAR-145 from local authority for Quality Assurance team for evaluation;
  • Carry out Quality Assurance Correspondences management, prepare application package for submission to HKCAD, and filing approval document;
  • Liaise with IT team for the M&E distribution IT system (DMS) maintenance;
  • Perform administrative support including scanning and filing Aircraft Technical Log, Cabin Maintenance Log and maintenance work packages from time to time;
  • Check with Planning’s maintenance schedules to ensure all completed technical records are received;
  • Maintain the stock level of technical documents for all aircraft, including stock take of different material, purchase and order the log books;
  • Modify the layout of the technical and cabin maintenance log;
  • Monitor the status of aircraft certificates including C of A and radio station licenses. Make sure the aircraft has the appropriate and updated certificates;
  • Support other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder in Engineering discipline, or equivalent qualification;
  • Minimum 1 years’ aircraft maintenance/ engineering experiences;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, good data management and analysis skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external parties;
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese, including Mandarin.
