• Provide guidance based on best practices/ industry trends to resolve incidents/ implement changes
• Provide in-depth SAP Basis Technical advice and attend to diagnosis/ investigation/ troubleshooting of complex incidents and change requests
• Possess in-depth functional knowledge from business viewpoint and technical knowledge from system viewpoint
• Provide coaching to technical team members to upskill technical capabilities
• Perform SAP BASIS technical assessment for a new project to ensure that the BAU environment can accommodate the additional workload demand from the project.

• Provide guidance based on best practices/ latest industry trends to efficiently resolve incidents & implement change requests
• Provide in-depth advice on incident diagnosis/ investigation/ troubleshooting
• Provide input & advice to address complex concerns, incidents or changes
• Perform Technical Post Deployment Validation
• Ensure daily monitoring and troubleshooting activities such as analyzing SAP system logs and ABAP dumps, check cancelled background processes, check DB locks, transports, and printers are performed by team members using the best practices.
• Support project and BAU Basis initiatives such as performance tuning / monitoring, system / client refreshes, sizing, patching, installation and upgrades.
• Plan and coordinate EASC yearly DR drill exercise
• Prepare the DR drill reports
• Plan and ensure that SAP landscape and architecture are complied with AIA Security Standards and the industry best practice
• Attending to incidents & change requests (whenever necessary)
• Implement changes (whenever necessary)
• Plan for Database administration, SBP patching and upgrades and ensure it is performed according to the standard roadmap
• Plan for SAP OS/DB upgrades and ensure it is performed according to the standard roadmap
• Develop and/or maintain procedures to manage technologies and tasks based on "best practice" standards for tasks such as such as system refreshes, backup & recovery, error detection, SAP ILM, SAP IQ, SAPGUI, BEX Analyzer, BPC GUI, AO and EPM deployment, background job monitoring/scheduling and Disaster Recovery Procedures.
• Support SAP Functional teams and business users for Basis-related problems
• Analyze and plan the remediation actions for SAP system optimization reports (e.g. Early Watch, system health check)
• Conduct and coordinate for ad-hoc SAP improvement task force whenever required (e.g: EWA analysis, IT capacity planning, SAP TPO etc).

Job Requirements :

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree Information Technology/Systems, or Engineering or Business-related degree majoring in computing systems

Experience:

• 10 years or more of solid Basis experience in managing and administering both ABAP and JAVA stacks in SAP ECC, BI, BPC, Solution Manager, SAP NetWeaver PO, SAP Portal, Business Object, SAP ILM and SAP Single Sign-On administration
• Strong experience in NetWeaver 7.5 and HANA scale-out architecture
• Strong experience in Unix/Linux and Windows administration
• Strong experience in Oracle Database and SAP IQ administration
• Strong experience with Solution Manager scenarios:
• E2E Workload Analysis
• E2E Change Analysis
• E2E Trace Analysis
• E2E Exception Analysis
• EWA and Maintenance Optimizer
• ChaRM configuration and maintenance
• System performance analysis
• IT Reporting (Management and SLA Reporting)
• Strong experience in system integration and interfaces administration with ETL, SAP NetWeaver PO and SWIFT
• Strong Cloud administration knowledge and experience

• Attention to detail especially in ensuring SAP systems are optimized and fine tuned
• Able to communicate well in English
