This is one of the largest property developer in Hong Kong which owns several well-known shopping centers in Hong Kong. With different systems upgrading and A&A projects, they are looking for talents in the engineering sector to join them as a technical manager.

Responsibility:

• Monitor the daily operations and performance of Building Services installations, including air-conditioning, building management system, fire services, etc.
• Periodically review the maintenance standards,
• Formulate preventive maintenance with schedule and budget plan,
• Monitor work progress of improvement works,
• Control expenses of systems upgrading projects as well as A&A works and building reliability.
• Conduct vetting of engineering proposal,
• Compile comments on the Building Services system modification,
• Prepare contingency plan, monitor contractors’ quality of work and progress,
• Liaise and coordinate with working partners, tenants, designers, contractors, consultants and relevant Government departments.
• Supervise and monitor in-house frontline staff members, operators and contractors to ensure Company Policies, standards as well as safety requirement is achieved.
• Energy management of the property and implement energy conservation initiatives to achieve company’s sustainability directives.

Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer and / or Corporate Member of HKIE / CIBSE / ASHRAE / IMechE / BSOMES
• Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Min 7 years’ relevant experience, 3 years of which at managerial level with exposure in managing large commercial complex and improvement projects with proven leadership skills.
• Possess strong problem solving and project management skills,
• Resourceful with good negotiation and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
