Eaton’s Commercial and Residential Distribution Solutions Division is currently seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer to join our team. This position is based remotely or at our Moon Township, PA location. The Technical Marketing Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for code adoption and industry awareness of related building and electrical codes. The position is part of our marketing organization responsible for driving awareness and demand of Eaton's electrical safety solutions as relevant to applicable codes and standards. In this position you will: Become part of the UL product standards making process Coordinate and drive strategy among Eaton product lines Develop and implement adoption of the NEC Develop marketing communications establishing Eaton solutions Become the leader and main point of contact as it relates to current trends and technology for Codes and Standards Subject Matter Expert as it relates to Eaton's safety solutions for Codes and Standards Support national/regional industry events/tradeshows Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical marketing/sales, product/project management, or engineering Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, sales, marketing or technical degree from an accredited institution Master’s degree in Business from an accredited institution Experience in the electrical industry and/or the construction industry Experience with developing third party product standards Industry membership in electrical industry associations Experience with electrical building codes- NEC, ICC-IRC Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
