Job Posting Details

The appointees will be required to plan and implement new installations and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems such as fume cupboards, cold rooms, overhead cranes, air compressors, power distribution, ACMV and laboratory furniture in various laboratories. They will liaise with laboratory users and other service providers, and supervise external contractors.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, building services or relevant disciplines, plus at least 1 year of post-qualification experience; or an associate degree/higher diploma/higher certificate in the aforementioned disciplines plus at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. A good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential.  Applicants should have good analytical and organizational skills, a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently.  Possession of a valid Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker at Grade A0 or above and hands-on knowledge with AutoCAD are preferred. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
