The Opportunity

In this role as a Technical Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance to the Group Distribution teams and drive innovation. This role will also see you monitoring legislative changes and develop technical strategies in response to regulatory changes and market insights.

You will develop and maintain senior relationships across key Group clients, institutional and representative bodies. While in this role you will also play a role in coaching and mentoring employees in the technical aspects of Group insurance.

To do this successfully you will:

• Provide key technical and market insights on competitor propositions in relation product, price, or market/regulatory change

• Deliver technical information on time and on target within agreed timeframes to regulatory changes in Group Insurance and legislative requirements

• Participate and present at industry conferences, representative sessions, client meetings and events on Group Insurance

• Implement and evolve technical development strategies in response to regulatory changes & market insights

• Contribute to the development of product propositions that support the growth and suitability of the group insurance market

Successful applications will demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualifications in business related disciplines

• Excellent communication (both written and verbal), organisational and engagement skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

• Proven experience in the Group Life Insurance and Superannuation industry

• Strong presentation skills with a keen eye for detail

• Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills
