Your role is critical to the success of our productivity portfolio for CNC machines. Your task is to find the right balance between user experience (UX), hardware constraints, algorithms complexity, and our sales processes. You will distill industry trends, customer requirements and usage scenarios into product features. Engineers easily understand how to implement the features from your definitions. Users are delighted to use the features you defined. Responsibilities: Analyze customer production scenarios and derive feature definitions aligned with Siemens’ portfolio strategy. Work with the engineering team to overcome technological and scheduling gaps without sacrificing user experience and market coverage. Conduct hands-on trainings to Siemens’ sales and customer support personnel on new features. Study market trends and conduct competitive analysis for future portfolio development Create compelling manuals and marketing collateral to promote new features into the market Requirements: At least bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, physics or mechanical engineering. At least 2 years of experience as product manager or (pre-)sales/applications engineer. Experience communicating directly with customers. Experience building (as developer or product manager) embedded software products, or practical experience in metal cutting industry Professional fluency in English Proven presentation skills (verbal and visual material creation) What else we are looking for: Knowledge of German or Mandarin Chinese – huge advantage.
