Responsibilities: Drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our new cloud SaaS products for engineering education Conduct market analysis, competitive analysis, and business case development that drives smart investment decisions Collaborate with customers to understand their business drivers and product requirements Be the voice of the customer in front of senior leadership, sales and marketing Define the business and user focused use cases that drive technical product planning Conduct hypothesis testing for problem, solution, and monetization. Develop monetization strategies and product pricing Iterate with multiple development teams and leaders on trade-offs and priorities Work with product marketing, business development and sales colleagues on go to market plans Identify strategic technology and business partners Support M&A analysis and proposals Collaborate with other Siemens partners (Industries, Sales, Services, Technology Office, other Product teams, Marketing, etc.) to solicit feedback, balance opposing priorities and deliver on partner business requirements Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: 3+ years’ of software product management experience working within an Agile development environment Proven experience delivering Cloud/SaaS products and services 3+ years’ working within the Education Technology software space An understanding of engineering design and experience using PLM technology (CAD, CAM, CAE, etc.) Understanding of the student and teacher facing technologies used within K-12 education and higher education Strong background in both business and technical roles Extensive experience working directly with customers Proven ability to build product investment proposals based on market, competitive, and financial analysis Proven strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills on all levels, including the ability to articulate sophisticated technology concepts simply and concisely Strong collaboration skills, including proven success in effectively working across large organizations to build consensus and get results Ability to effectively work with a globally dispersed team serving a global customer base Experience working in a business development role a plus Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or other technical subject area required Fluency in English Where permitted by applicable law, Siemens may require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 based on job requirements, and in accordance with an accommodation based on legally protected reasons. #LI-PLM #LI-DF1 #LI-remote Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry Software Inc.
