Work with multiple stakeholders including product management, the CSO, etc. to help develop the technical plan Ensure all technical requirements are captured including compliance, security, availability, and scalability concerns Work with product management to ensure that work is sequenced based on technical dependencies as well as business priorities Help clarify various options for the direction of the product as it relates to technical viability alongside the development team Make sure all participants understand what is being built, why it is being built, and how we will build it What will you need to succeed? Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other related discipline 5+ years of professional experience in software development of cloud native solutions Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences Experience working with stakeholders across many functions Experience interpreting and communicating analytics Excellent oral/written communication & listening skills will be necessary to present information, analysis & recommendations to all levels of employees, including management, and customers. Experience with one or more programming languages (Java, C#, Javascript/Typescript, Go, etc.) Willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues to stay connected to technology Understand technical tradeoffs and opportunity costs to make quick decisions to support your team Experience delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment where priorities shift quickly AWS / Azure Experience Proficiency (one or more years) in designing, developing and deploying cloud based solution using AWS or Azure Understanding of core AWS/Azure services, uses, and basic architecture best practices Good To Have Cloud development experience Experience building complex, scalable, high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, fault tolerant, and reliable applications on AWS Selecting appropriate AWS services to design and deploy an application based on given requirements Migrating complex, multi-tier applications on AWS Implementing cost control strategies Proactive business skills and strong collaborative skills are required. Self-Directed, High Energy Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision as part of a globally distributed virtual team Proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, product lines, roles and geographical and time zone boundaries High degree of organization to manage & maintain project plans, road maps & provide accurate updates as part of the review cycle.
