Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Technical Product Manager, for our Timing and Synchronization product line, to join our team. All candidates must currently reside within the United States and can be based remotely from a home office. Position Overview: This position will perform Market and application trend investigation and analysis to support new product categories for timing & synchronization products. In this function you will: Build the global technical applications support infrastructure for timing & synchronization products, including product training, use cases, product selector guides, datasheets, customer support and applications testing Incorporate other ELX product offerings into the application to showcase as many ELX products as possible in any given application. Assist with marketing research and product portfolio analysis Support product roadmap definition through market and application trend investigation and analysis. Identify product line value propositions and solutions. Make abundant and effective digital tools to develop customers and support sales, including product literature, training, sales guide, demos, etc. Drive and support sales team members to develop customers with proactive actions. Help manage product life cycle from concept to design, prototype, cost, mass production, promotion, support, and finally product end of life When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree 8+ years related experience in marketing, sales, or similar role within the electronics industry. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: Electronic components (including active and passive ones) or devices with a deep understanding of timing & synchronization products. Additional knowledge on capacitor technologies and applications preferred. Knowledge of electronic capacitors and accompanying product specifications in electronics industry. Application and market knowledge for electronic circuits. Experience working in or with Automotive Suppliers as customers Position Criteria: Creative Thinking Work under pressure. and drive change through others. Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills. Ability to manage by influence through solid relationships and process focus Ability to effectively present results and recommendations to senior-level executive team.
