Eaton is seeking a Technical Product Owner who loves building strong pipelines of customer requirements with the goal of delivering solutions that exceed our customers dreams and expectations. Reporting directly to the XXXX and will be responsible for the successful scoping, planning, and coordinating delivery of Utilities software solution and utilizing excellent communication skills to inspire our teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible. This leader will possess a clear vision of the future as the software delivery pipeline will be your product to set the vision and strategy for. As the Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for connecting marketing, business leaders and agile -based software development teams to build and deliver highly – collaborative, cross-functional solutions for Utilites segments. Responsibilities Work with the product manager to define and maintain the product roadmap. Develops and owns technical backlog in collaboration with architect/tech lead, security team and other technical teams. Understands customer and technical needs to drive development to achieve these goals. Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks. Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders within the organization. Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders. Assisting the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint. Adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release. Be part of Agile ceremonies and identify areas of improvement. Provide continuous feedback to engineering team Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product. Qualifications Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of experience working directly with Agile teams on complex software projects across departments. 3+ years of experience as Product Owner. In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies. Agile certification preferred Ability to lead enterprise-wide programs and interact effectively with multiple teams in organization across different geographies. Domain knowledge on Utilities will be added advantage. Experience working with teams developing Digital Solutions Strong tactical, strategic thinking, problem solving skills, and leadership Able to achieve big picture objectives while paying attention to the details. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
