Eaton’s CPDI Power Quality Division is currently seeking a Technical Product Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Toronto, Ontario, Canada facility. This role is an Hybride position. Position Overview: The Technical Product Specialist is responsible for providing timely and accurate drawings, materials information, engineering, pre, and post-shipment product support (technical, application, etc.) for Marketing & Sales, Customer Service, and Services for the C.P.D.I. Power Quality Division. In this role, you will review incoming orders during the approval drawing process to ensure all necessary equipment is being provided. Support the commercial aspects of the order, which may include discussion with customers to approve/revise drawings, and provide customers with documentation packages. Handle Product Configuration Prepare approval/construction/as-built drawings. Maintain customer drawings on the company system folder, incorporating any customer changes. Project Management Report to the manager on work-related activities on a regular basis. Coordination and successful execution of assigned Engineered to Order (ETO) or Configured to Order (CTO) product orders, adhering to the project. Support and participate in the implementation of corporate initiatives and attainment of department and operations goals. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or College Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution Minimum of 1-3 years of electrical engineering or technologist experience Minimum of 1-3 years of AutoCAD electrical experience No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 80 kilometers of Toronto, Ontario, Canada facility will be considered. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Electrical Technologist or Professional Engineering designation. 3 years of electrical engineering experience Minimum of 3 years of AutoCAD electrical experience Experience in a manufacturing environment Position Success Criteria : Understanding and experience using and interpreting the Canadian Electrical Code. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD Electrical. Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision or as part of a team and taking direction.
