Job Description

This position is for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Graphics Research Organization (GRO) in the AXG CTO Office and manage the execution of incubation portfolio in a matrixed organizational structure. The computer graphics industry is at an inflection point today and top-notch advanced graphics research is KEY for Intel to lead in this era. As a TPM, you would work with industry-leading experts (both internal and external) to drive a portfolio of incubation programs forward with quality and agility and manage the transfer those technologies to AXG verticals to bring best-in-class GPUs to market.

Key responsibilities and the expected behavioral traits will include:

  • Drive the execution of incubation workflow in a highly matrixed and cross-organizational team
  • Identify gaps that impede agility and quality, creatively remove those roadblocks with appropriate partnerships that may be needed
  • Work with the research team to balance asynchronous and synchronous communications in a matrixed structure while driving/preparing program summaries and preparing for ops reviews
  • Excellent executive communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Partner with GRO staff and lead organizing the knowledge sharing sessions
  • Can do attitude and customer first mindset
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid track record of collaboration and building and strengthening partnerships
  • Thrive in ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Adept at problem solving, planning and good teamwork, with ability to work across organizational boundaries


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum skills and experience:


Must have a Bachelors in Science or Engineering with 8+ years of industry experience.  Or a Master’s in the same fields with 5+ years of industry experience.

Your experience must be in the following:

  • Computer graphics as part of education and/or industry experience
  • Direct experience and knowledge of Ray Tracing and/or Path Tracing through coursework, project, or product
  • Experience productizing at least one graphics technology or experience in game development
  • Program management experience in Graphics SW, HW or Driver programs/early-stage incubation technologies/product concepts
  • Experience working with and driving execution in a matrixed org structure

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience in ML/DL based technologies/products.
