As a Technical Program Manager in the Ethernet Product Group (EPG), you will own delivering Ethernet products with high quality and on schedule to external Telecommunications partners, and managing strategic accounts/projects. You plan requirements with external partners (OEM) and internal Engineering teams and usher projects through the entire project life cycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders and partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with Marketing and Engineering teams to respond to RFQs from Telecommunications partners, strategic accounts/projects and potential business opportunities.
- Work directly with telecommunication partners understanding requirements
- Drive cross-functional and cross business unit stakeholder groups to include customer requirements into the product design
- Drive and execute Telco partner product launches, which involves tracking and managing schedules for HW, SW and FW deliverables, customer, and stakeholder communications
- Work with Engineering on root-cause-fix of Telco customer reported issues.
- Determine and drive deliverables into and through appropriate release channels
- Perform retrospectives in case of quality excursions or missing key Telco partner deliverables

The candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience in relevant industry for 3 years.
- 5 years of experience in Program and Project management in high tech industry
- Experience on working directly with large, business critical partners across multiple geographies for program/project management
- Working knowledge in applying Program Life Cycle , Project management concepts and SW methodologies. E.g., Agile, Waterfall etc.
- Ability to execute in a highly cross-functional, multi-geography environment.
- Strategic thinking to plan, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills along with process and customer obsession
- Self-starter with ability to work independently through ambiguity and under pressure.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to deliver aligned project/program deliverables
- Ability to interface with multi-leveled employees, management and customers; solid communication, presentation, and influencing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in Program and Project management in high tech industry
- PMP Certification
- Demonstrated knowledge in applying Program Life Cycle, Project management concepts and SW methodologies. E.g., Agile, Waterfall etc. and managing a large vibrant portfolio of technology.
- In depth knowledge of Time Sync protocols, vRAN and DPDK deliverables and implementations
- Working knowledge of Linux and VMware operating systems

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
