The Wireless Access Network Division (WAND) is the driving force behind the network transformation to Cloud Based Architectures for 4G, 5G and next generation 6G Networks. With significant success at major operators such as Verizon, Rakuten, and Dish, and new operators wanting to deploy and scale their 5G network in 2022, the WAND team needs to expand its team of operator focused Program Managers.
Cloud Based RAN infrastructure is based on the Intel FlexRAN™ reference architecture which is enabling the vRAN/OpenRAN eco system. A commercial deployment at major operators requires all eco system partners working together closely, and Intel is at the heart of this.
The role is for a Program Manager who will be Intel owner of the program aspects as they relate to Intel and it's eco system partners to make sure deployments happen on time.
In this role you will work with many teams within Intel covering other Business and Engineering Units within Intel.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will:
- Set direction for programs by determining and balancing the technical need vs business impact of program/project decisions and operates within guardrails.
- Work very closely with external partners on their program plans and ensure Intel is enabling them.
- Be the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally.
- Assign overall tasks to others managing general areas of responsibility in support of program goals.
- Aid in the development, definition, and execution of Plan of Record (POR) that includes schedules, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure that quality standards and budget constraints are met.
- Create, track, adjust the program schedule analyzing/honing Critical Path.
- Ensure appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate.
- Assess risks and identifies solutions or mitigations to timely, efficient achievement of program goals.
- Prioritize utilization of resources with other functions.
- Influence business unit or cross organizational strategies relevant to program goals.

- Strong business acumen and experience collaborating with Marketing and/or Business Development.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, plus 6+ years of related work experience,
· Experience with Platform/Product Development and/or Program Management
· Experience with Network from Core to Radio Access Network.
· Experience working with Communication Service Providers on delivering key milestones, such as lab trials, network launch etc.
· Experience with cellular technology and/or RF systems.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
· 9+ years of experience.
· Program management experience.
· Experience working with Silicon Architecture, Firmware/Software, and Platform engineering teams.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$130,190.00-$221,610.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
